Полностью творческий проект, основа - только заданная тема и возникшая идея стилистики данной работы. Выполняли вдвоем с маляром-подготовщиком. В то время я увольнялся из ВМА и был занят поисками покупки квартиры и в этот момент случается данный проект-заказ. Но те совпадения, которые случились в то время, впоследствии показали мне, что я на правильном пути в выборе своего занятия и кем быть в жизни. Хозяина Хаммера звали Владимир - вначале он хотел изобразить фрагменты из фильма "Особенности национальной охоты", но потом взглянув на эскизы высказал следущее: тут должна быть битва, сильная, на мечах. Во - ты же сам со Пскова - так давай Ледовое побоище!
Квартира мне попалась на улице Владимирская, окна выходили на мост Александра Невского, а номер квартиры был такой же, как и у владельца Хаммера в их клубе. Саму работу мы закончили случайно в день 100 летия храма Александра Невского в Пскове, и в этот день был снят по случаю репортаж на местном телевидении.

The apartment I found on Vladimirskaya Street, the windows overlooked the Alexander Nevsky Bridge, and the apartment number was the same as that of the Hammer owner in their club. The work itself we finished accidentally on the day of the 100th anniversary of the Alexander Nevsky church in Pskov, and this day was shot on the occasion of a report on local television.
